Dr. Santhosh Kumar N is a renowned Head & Neck Surgical Oncologist with over 15 years of experience in the management of head and neck cancers, complex oncologic surgeries, and advanced reconstructive procedures. He currently serves as Senior Consultant and Head of Head & Neck Surgical Oncology at Aster Medcity, Kochi.
After completing his MBBS from Government Medical College, Calicut, Dr. Santhosh pursued his MS in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) from JIPMER, Puducherry, one of India's premier medical institutions. He further specialized with a Fellowship in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology from the Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram.
Throughout his career, he has held key positions at leading cancer centers and tertiary care hospitals across Kerala, including MVR Cancer Centre, Aster MIMS, Malabar Cancer Centre, and Aster Medcity. His commitment to clinical excellence is complemented by active involvement in academic research, national and international presentations, and peer-reviewed publications.
Dr. Santhosh is particularly known for his patient-centered approach, organ-preserving cancer treatments, functional rehabilitation after surgery, and expertise in managing complex head and neck malignancies.
He has also undergone advanced laser surgery training at the University Hospital Tübingen, Germany, and has received specialized training in robotic thyroid surgery.
