Dr. Irshad Edavana is recognized as a highly accomplished and internationally credentialed ophthalmologist, with over eight years of dedicated clinical and surgical experience. Specialized expertise in cornea and refractive surgery is demonstrated, bringing significant academic distinction, advanced clinical proficiency, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care to the Department of Ophthalmology.
A Master of Surgery (MS) in Ophthalmology has been obtained from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, along with the prestigious Diplomate of National Board (DNB) award from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. International standing is underscored by fellowships conferred by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCS) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS), in addition to the Fellowship of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO).
A specialized fellowship in cornea and phaco-refractive surgery has also been completed at MM Joshi Eye Institute, Hubli.
