Dr Amrutha completed her MBBS from Pushpagiri Medical College, Thiruvalla and MD in Psychiatry from Govt Medical college Kozhikode. She also completed a course in life skill development in adolescents as a part of Sumana trust and Nimhans Banglore. Her experience extends to Santi hospital ,Mukkam and Koyas hospital Feroke as a consultant in the Department of Psychiatry.
