Dr. Poornima completed her MBBS and MD from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, and DM Neurology from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology. She has previously worked as a consultant neurologist at Malabar Hospitals, Calicut. As part of her residency training, she gained expertise in the evaluation and management of various neurological conditions. Besides being responsible for admissions and inpatient management of patients, she managed outpatient clinics daily which catered to a large volume of patients coming from across Southern India.
