He completed his Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology from the University of California, Los Angeles. He has worked as an Additional Professor in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology, at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST). He also worked as a consultant in Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Hamad Heart Hospital, Doha, Qatar. Dr. Anees has more than 50 publications in reputed academic journals.
