One of the most experienced senior cardiologists in the state for the past 30+ years, Dr. Ali is the Director of the Board, Advisor for the Center for Heart and Vascular Care, and a Senior Consultant at Meitra Hospital. An alumnus of Calicut Medical College, he completed his cardiology training at Bangalore University and worked as a Consultant at Madras Medical Mission, Chennai. He was instrumental in setting up one of Calicut's most comprehensive and successful cardiac care programs. During this period, he introduced Kerala’s first successful primary angioplasty program for the treatment of Myocardial Infarction, along with other vital services such as cardiac surgery and heart transplants, which proved to be a robust model for others to follow. 

Since 1991, he has been involved in interventional complex cardiology procedures, and has completed over 15,000 invasive procedures, including 5000 coronary angioplasties.

Dr. Ali Faizal has four international and 16 national publications including abstracts. He is currently a member of the Cardiology Society of India (CSI) and Indian College of Cardiology (ICC).
